Product Safety

We actively work to ensure that our products meet the requirements of chemical legislation, both national and European, to ensure that correct safety information reaches the end user.

There are many regulations and directives that affect our products, and these are continuously updated. The most general are CLP and REACH, but there are several others focused on specific areas. Through our memberships in industry organizations such as Sveff and BPHR, we continuously monitor regulatory changes and anticipate what is coming.

All our chemical products are classified, and a safety data sheet (SDS) is created for each specific product. We can provide SDS in many European languages. Label documentation is compiled with the legally required text to facilitate label design. We also assist in reviewing legally required label text before printing.

We support our product developers by evaluating new raw materials with regard to health and environmental hazards and provide guidance in the substitution of hazardous substances. We also support production with risk-related questions.

There are many external assessment systems such as the Nordic Swan, EU Ecolabel, Byggvarubedömningen, BASTA, etc., which we work with regularly. In addition, several Nordic countries have product registers where we register our own products and assist our customers with product content for their registrations.
