Application
  • Instructions for use

The roof surface must be dry during the work. Rain immediately after the roof treatment has no effect on the tightness of the roof coating. Only minor changes in the surface layer may occur. The roof should not be walked on before the roof coating has stabilized. This takes about 2 months with full reinforcement.

  • Before painting

The substrate must be well cleaned and dry. Moss and algae must be removed. Paper blisters or the like should be adjusted so that the surface is as smooth as possible to achieve a good result. Remember to check and, if necessary, adjust the paper pockets that may occur in the upstand areas of the old roofing felt.

  • Painting

The roofing compound is usually spread with a roof brush in the direction of the roofing felt and towards the overlap so that the joint is filled. Applications should end with a straight edge about 5 cm up. Keep in mind that long brush strokes give a smoother surface. The recommended material quantity should be about 1 m²/kg, depending on surface texture and roofing felt quality.
