Kopparpasta

Starta Copper Paste protects and lubricates, prevents seizing and corrosion on bolts and threaded connections. Reduces friction and wear even at very high temperatures and pressures. Copper paste is resistant to both cold and hot water and is therefore very suitable for use in corrosive environments. Copper paste withstands temperatures from -35°C to +1100°C. The paste has good lubrication properties up to 300°C; at higher temperatures, the copper particles take effect and protect against corrosion and seizing.

Starta Copper Paste is used on threads and threaded joints to facilitate the assembly and disassembly of bolts, for example, in exhaust systems or other places where the thread is exposed to large temperature changes. It is preferably used on brake components such as sliding surfaces between the caliper and pad, on the back of the brake pads to prevent noise.
