Starta Compressor Oil Synth 46 is a compressor oil of very high quality. The oil is based on polyalphaolefin, PAO, a synthetic base oil that provides the compressor oil with a very wide operating range. The oil is highly oxidation-stable, which reduces oil consumption and increases the service interval, up to 8 times longer compared to a mineral oil. The oil withstands very high temperatures and loads without oxidizing, which reduces wear, the risk of coking, fire, and explosion. The oil has good air and water separation properties and protects against corrosion. The oil is zinc-free and has good anti-foaming properties.
