Starta OptiSpray™ is a variant of AdBlue® with a surfactant that reduces the risk of crystallization and deposits. OptiSpray™ is used instead of AdBlue® with which it is fully compatible. The 10L can have different appearances of the container and spout, but a pouring spout is always included.

Product description
In Starta OptiSpray™, a surfactant is added that gives smaller droplet size, which makes OptiSpray™ distribute better in the catalyst and purify effectively even at low temperatures. This prevents OptiSpray™ from crystallization and deposits in selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems in vehicles and mobile machinery, and downtime can be reduced for these engines.
OptiSpray™ is used instead of AdBlue®, with which it is fully compatible.
OptiSpray™ is especially important in applications characterized by low average engine load/many start and stops and/or idling. Avoid direct sunlight and prolonged exposure to heat.
OptiSpray™ freezes at -11.5°C and should therefore be stored at temperatures above -11.5°C.
It should also be protected from direct sunlight as it can separate due to excessive heat and thereafter becomes unusable.
Shelf life at least 12 months after production date depending on storage temperature.

Area of application
Starta OptiSpray™ is based on a 32.5% urea solution with high purity, complying with the specific purity criteria of the ISO 22241 standard for AdBlue®. OptiSpray™ is used instead of AdBlue®, with which it is fully compatible. OptiSpray™ is particularly useful where heavy machinery is operated at low speeds under light load and with frequent starts and stops. When the catalyst does not reach the correct operating temperature, crystals form that eventually block the catalyst with crystal-like cakes. After a while, the machine risks going into limp mode (idle mode) and must be taken to a workshop for catalyst repair. Starta OptiSpray™ prevents this problem.
OptiSpray™ is filled into a separate tank on the vehicle and must never be mixed with diesel fuel.
