Glykol Grön Longlife

Starta Glycol Grön Longlife provides good and long-lasting corrosion protection for the most common metals in cooling systems: copper, tin, brass, steel, cast iron and aluminium. The glycol has a lifespan in passenger cars of up to 25,000 miles and in heavier vans up to 50,000 miles or a maximum of six years, whichever comes first, after which the corrosion protection decreases, which can damage the engine's cooling system. Starta Glycol Green Longlife is based on ethylene glycol with (Si-OAT) to best protect against corrosion, oxidation and reduce cavitation tendencies. The glycol is biodegradable and free of nitrite, amine, borate and phosphate, which ensures the least possible impact on nature. The glycol also meets the requirements regarding 2-EHA in the latest revision of the CLP regulation. Discharge of smaller quantities does not cause disturbances in the degradation steps of the treatment plants. The glycol is toxic and must not be ingested. The glycol is concentrated and must be mixed with water, for best corrosion protection a minimum of 33% mixing is recommended. The glycol is mixed with water to the desired antifreeze and then topped up in the cooling system. It is recommended that you use battery water (deionized/distilled) for the mixture. Starta Glycol Grön Longlife is miscible with most existing cooling glycols on the market.

Starta Glycol Green Longlife is a high-quality coolant with a long service life that is suitable for many cars, trucks, and engines of European, Asian, and American, among other, brands. Glycol Green LL meets the requirements for Volvo and BMW models from 2018 and onwards but is also backward compatible with all previous standards. Starta Glycol Green can also be used as corrosion protection in closed water-based heating and cooling systems.
