  • Pretreatment

The roof should be clean and dry before applying the Concrete Roof Paint. Clean with Hagmans Algae Wash and Hagmans Exterior Painter's Wash according to instructions. Repair cracks and holes with Hagmans Floor Filler.

  • Painting

Apply the paint in two coats. For absorbent surfaces, dilute the first coat with 10-20% water. With a spray gun, it is easy to apply the correct amount of Concrete Roof Paint. Examples of suitable spray guns are Wagner PS 3.29 or PS 3.31 equipped with an appropriate nozzle (about 13-17). For "do-it-yourselfers," simpler spray guns also work, e.g., Wagner Project Pro 117 or 119. It is also fine to use a brush or roller. The weather must be stable without rain.

  • After painting

Wipe the tools thoroughly before cleaning them in water. Seal the can tightly after use and keep out of reach of children. Liquid paint residues should not be poured into the drain but taken to the local recycling center.
