Temperature at painting
During application and drying, the temperature of both the substrate and the ambient air must be between +12 °C and +30 °C. At the time of application, the paint itself should be at a temperature between +15 °C and +25 °C. Ensure good ventilation so that the water can evaporate before the paint cures. If the relative humidity exceeds 85%, there is a risk that the surface will become matte and patchy.

Instructions for use
Thick film paint EP-V as standard painting:
Absorbent substrates are primed with a layer of Thick film paint EP-V diluted with 10-20% water. Another unthinned layer is painted on top. Apply with brush or roller.
Thick film paint EP-V as a self-levelling coating:
Absorbent substrates are primed with a layer of Thick film paint EP-V diluted with 10-20% water. By adding Myanit or Epoxyfiller, a mass is produced for self-leveling coating. Myanit gives a smooth surface to the coating. When epoxy fillers are used, this gives structure to the surface. Do this: Mix A and B comp. To 1l (1.25 kg) of paint is added 1l (1.3 kg) Myanit or 1l (1.6 kg) Epoxy filler. Mix thoroughly. The mass is most easily applied with a notched trowel and then rolled with studded rollers. Consumption: 1.2 l/m2 (2 kg/m2) of mixed mass gives a layer thickness of just over 1 mm.
Thick film paint EP-V as putty:
By adding Microtalk to Thick film paint EP-V, a smooth putty is easily mixed for use when repairing damage in concrete, etc. Do this: Mix A and B comp. About 1.7l (1 kg) of Microtalk is added to 1l (1.25 kg) of paint. Mix thoroughly and the putty is ready to use. The putty can be painted over with our EP-V products after about 3 hours. If the putty is to be sanded, however, you have to wait about 24 hours before this can be done.
Thick film paint EP-V as repair mortar:
For repairing larger holes, building falls, etc., JP sand can be added. Do this: Mix A and B comp. To 1l (1.25 kg) of paint, add approx. 3l (4.8 kg) of JP sand. Mix thoroughly. Apply the repair mortar with a steel trowel or trowel. The repair mill can be entered after 24 hours. Overpainting can take place after 3 hours if you do not need to enter the mill. -
Pretreatment
New concrete floors must have cured for at least 1 week, be dry and free from dirt, oil, etc. The cement skin should be removed by, for example, diamond grinding, blasting, or acid washing. When repainting existing paint, the surface should be sanded matt and all loose paint removed.
-
Application
A- and B-components are mixed well. An electric or pneumatic machine mixer should be used, e.g., a low-speed drill with a suitable mixing paddle. Splash protection is recommended. Absorbent substrates are primed with a layer of Thick Film Paint EP-V diluted with 10-20% water. Another undiluted thick film layer is applied on top (consumption approx. 0.3 kg/m2 gives a dry paint layer of approx. 130µm). Apply with a brush or roller.
