Application
  • Pretreatment

Sweep the patio clean of leaves and other dirt.
If you have green patches on the decking, spray them with vinegar and let it act for 1 day.
Wet the patio with a garden hose and let it stay wet for a while, so that the water helps to loosen the dirt. Rinse the patio floor from dissolved dirt as well as vinegar.
Scrub the floor clean with a mixture of soap and lukewarm water. Use 2-3 dl of linseed oil soap for 10 liters of water. You can increase the concentration if the decking is very dirty. Scrub until you notice that the foam no longer becomes dirty.
When the floor is clean, rinse it with a garden hose so that all the dirt disappears.
If the dirt is really stubborn, you can first clean the decking with Landora Terrace Wash.

  • Application

Preferably treat on a cloudy day or work in the shade so the sun doesn’t burn in the soap before you’ve applied it as you want. Make sure to wet the floor before treatment to avoid stains.

Mix 2 liters of soap with 8 liters of cold water in a bucket. Wet a scrubbing brush in the mixture and apply the soap with the help of the scrubbing brush. Let the floor soak up the soap. The first treatment is usually absorbed quite quickly, within a few hours. After that, you can repeat the treatment again the same day if you want. Wet, apply, let dry. How many times you need to treat depends greatly on how dry your floor is. Feel the surface when the floor has dried. If there is a small excess that has not been absorbed, then you know the wood has absorbed everything desired. If it still feels dry, treat it one more time. If after a few hours there are still "puddles" left on the floor that haven’t been absorbed, you can wipe them away with a cloth.
