Glykol Gul Longlife

Starta Glycol Yellow Longlife provides good and long-lasting corrosion protection for the most common metals in cooling systems: copper, tin, brass, steel, cast iron, and aluminum. The glycol has a lifespan in passenger cars of up to 250,000 km and in heavier transport vehicles up to 500,000 km or a maximum of six years, whichever comes first, after which the corrosion protection decreases, which can damage the engine's cooling system. Starta Glycol Yellow Longlife is based on ethylene glycol with special organic acids (OAT) to protect against corrosion, oxidation, and reduce cavitation tendencies. The glycol is biodegradable and free from nitrite, amine, borate, phosphate, and silicate, ensuring the least possible impact on nature. The glycol also meets the requirements regarding 2-EHA in the latest revision of the CLP regulation. The release of small amounts does not cause disturbances in wastewater treatment degradation processes. The glycol is toxic and must not be ingested.

The glycol is concentrated and should be mixed with water; for optimal corrosion protection, at least 33% dilution is recommended. The glycol is mixed with water to the desired freeze protection and then filled into the cooling system. The best performance is achieved by using battery water (deionized/distilled) for the mixture. Starta Glycol Yellow Longlife is compatible with most commonly available glycols on the market.
