Starta Gear Oil LS 80W-90 GL5 is based on a high-quality mineral oil which, in combination with special additives, ensures a range of properties. The oil contains so-called EP additives to withstand the extreme surface pressure that occurs in modern vehicle rear axles/final drives. The oil also contains special LS additives (Limited Slip) to counteract jerking, vibrations, and noise from axles with a differential brake and/or wet brakes. The oil also has very good corrosion protection and good flow properties at low temperatures.
