Application
  • Mixing ratio

Steelplastic Micro component A is mixed thoroughly with 2-3% hardener component B on, for example, a glass or wooden board. Do not mix more at a time than what is used within 4-5 minutes.

  • Pretreatment

The filler should only be used on dry and well-cleaned surfaces. Oil and grease are removed with, for example, Hagmans Silicone Remover. Sand the repair surface so that rust and loose paint are removed. After sanding, the surface is degreased again.

  • Application

Steel plastic Micro is applied with a steel or rubber spatula. The best working temperature is +20°C. The working time is then about 5 minutes and the curing time about 15 minutes. Clean the tools and mixing plate after use with ethyl acetate or thinner.

  • After treatment

After about 15-20 minutes, Stålplast Micro, if desired, is ready to sand. With a rasp or sandpaper (80-grit paper or finer), the hardened plastic can be sanded smooth. Stålplast Micro must endure (about 25 minutes) before the surface is exposed to temperatures above +70°C. This is to prevent the filler material from being damaged. Extremely easy to sand (regardless of age).
