Starta Propylene Glycol Ready-Mixed contains a corrosion inhibitor based on OAT (organic acid technology) and protects all metals including aluminum. The glycol continues to provide effective corrosion protection for several years. The product is free from nitrates, amines, phosphates, borates, and silicates. Starta Propylene Glycol Ready-Mixed is biodegradable and has low toxicity to aquatic organisms; it does not bioaccumulate in aquatic environments, but larger or repeated smaller discharges can have a negative impact on the external environment. Starta Propylene Glycol Ready-Mixed is also miscible with most ethylene-based glycols. The glycol is mixed with deionized water and provides frost protection down to approximately -33°C.

Starta Propylene Glycol Ready-Mixed is a propylene-based radiator glycol that provides effective and long-lasting freeze and corrosion protection for all liquid-cooled combustion engines, both in boats and land-based machinery. Propylene glycol can also be used in closed waterborne heating and cooling systems. Starta Propylene Glycol works both in the cooling system and for winter preservation of outboard motors and inboards that are freshwater or seawater-cooled.
