Application
  • Pretreatment

The surface must be clean, dry, and solid. Previously painted or varnished surfaces should be lightly sanded.

  • Application

Stir the varnish thoroughly before use. The varnish is applied in 1-2 coats with a brush or foam roller. Absorbent surfaces may require a third coat. When varnishing previously untreated wooden floors, be sure to carefully sand down the raised wood fibers after the first varnishing and remove all sanding dust to achieve a truly smooth surface. Moving in furniture can be done after 1 day. However, with heavier furniture and rugs, it is better to wait about a week, as the varnish only reaches its maximum hardness after this time. Do not varnish at temperatures below 10°C.

  • After painting

Sometimes certain rubber compounds in tires can cause plasticizer migration on waterborne paint or lacquer. On lighter colors, this can be perceived as yellowish marks.
