Product description
Hagmans Etch Primer is a rust protection primer with very good rust protection. Suitable for both aluminum and galvanized steel. -
Area of application
Used as a rust protection primer on clean metal surfaces and aluminum that are to be top-coated.
NOTE! Must not be overpainted with polyester and epoxy products.

Instructions for use
Can be overpainted or sanded after 2 hours.
Varnish at normal room temperature, ensure good ventilation.
Turn the can upside down and spray the valve empty after use.
Hagmans Etch Primer is dust-dry after about 10 minutes at +20°C. After about 2 hours of drying time, overcoating can take place.
For extra high requirements for surface finish, sand the primer before applying the topcoat, for example with wet sandpaper P.600.
Remove any rust spots with fine sandpaper and wash with, for example, Hagmans Silicone Remover S. -
Pretreatment
Surfaces to be treated should be well cleaned. Remove any rust and sand.

Application
Shake the can for at least 2 minutes after the balls have started rattling, before beginning the painting.
Test spray.
Spray thinly 2-3 times with a spraying distance of about 25 cm, wait about 30-45 seconds between applications.
