Hagmans Klarlack EP-V is a two-component water-dispersed epoxy clear coat.
During application and drying, the temperature of both the substrate and the ambient air must be between +12 °C and +30 °C. At the time of application, the paint itself should be at a temperature between +15 °C and +25 °C. Ensure good ventilation so that the water can evaporate before the paint cures. If the relative humidity exceeds 85%, there is a risk that the surface will become matte and patchy.

Allow for approximately 10 hours of curing time before the next coat. However, do not wait longer than a maximum of 24 hours. The finished lacquered floor surface can be used after about 24 hours and reaches full wear resistance after 5-7 days.
Non-flammable
Approx. 90, high gloss
Approx. 0.12 kg/coating. 1 kg is enough for approx. 8 m²
Max. 4 hours
2 years. Store frost-free.
Permeable to water in vapor form.
57% 1 coat gives 50-60 µm.
Mixing ratio:
Comp. A 1 part by weight
Comp. B 1 part by weight
Dilution: Can be diluted with water but is normally used without dilution.
All dirt and all contaminants shall be removed.
Feel free to use a cleaning machine and scrubbing pad combined with a wet vacuum. Hagmans Golvrent facilitates the cleaning.
When recoating existing lacquer, the surface shall be sanded to a matte finish and all loose lacquer removed.
With a brush or roller. Ensure good ventilation so that the water evaporates before the varnish has cured. At humidity over 85%, a matte and streaky surface can occur. It is important to apply the varnish evenly and thinly. If too much varnish is applied, there is a risk of water entrapment. Never apply more than a maximum of 125 g/m² = 8 m²/kg and avoid double coating wet on wet.
Small amounts, up to about 1 kg, can be mixed by hand with a rectangular stirring stick. Larger amounts should be mixed with an electric or pneumatic mixer, e.g., a low-speed drill with a suitable mixing paddle. Splash protection is recommended.
Brushes and other equipment are cleaned with water.
