Pretreatment
Clean and sand the repair surface. Sand the paint edges with sandpaper grit 240 or finer. Fill out all larger uneven areas with Stålplast Flexible or Micro. Dry sand first with sandpaper. The spray filler must not be applied directly to the metal surface without first being treated with a 2-component rust protection primer, e.g., Grundprimer CA. If the surface is galvanized, wait 2 hours before application.

Application
Steel-plastic Spray Filler 9000 is applied with a spray gun (gravity cup) or with a brush. When spraying, the lowest possible pressure is used. Cellulose thinner is used as a diluent. Use a protective mask (activated carbon) when working with spray putty or work in well-ventilated areas. After use, the spray gun should preferably be cleaned with acetone.

After treatment
Steel Plastic Spray Filler 9000 can be sanded after approximately 2 hours at a temperature of +20°C. To accelerate the drying time, a heat lamp can be used. Initially, this should be placed at a distance of 70-80 cm. Once the spray putty has hardened, the lamp can be moved to a distance of about 40 cm from the filled surface. As for oven drying, this should not be done at temperatures above +60°C before the putty has hardened. These remarks are made to prevent the filler material from being damaged. Hagmans Spray Filler 9000 is first sanded roughly with 240-280 grit sandpaper and then finely sanded with 360-400 grit.
