Starta Glycol Yellow Longlife Fb provides good and long-lasting corrosion protection for the most common metals in cooling systems: copper, tin, brass, steel, cast iron and aluminium. The glycol has a lifespan in passenger cars of up to 25,000 miles and in heavier vans up to 50,000 miles or a maximum of six years, whichever comes first, after which the corrosion protection decreases, which can damage the engine's cooling system. Starta Glycol Yellow Longlife Fb is based on ethylene glycol with special organic acids (OAT) to protect against corrosion, oxidation and reduce cavitation tendencies. The glycol is biodegradable and free of nitrite, amine, borate, phosphate and silicate, which ensures the least possible impact on nature. The glycol also meets the requirements regarding 2-EHA in the latest revision of the CLP regulation. Discharge of smaller quantities does not cause disturbances in the degradation steps of the treatment plants. The glycol is toxic and must not be ingested.
