Hagmans 1-K Rust Protection Primer is a sandable rust protection primer with very good rust protection. Also works excellently as a welding primer. -

Note! Do not spray on open flames or hot objects.

Pretreatment
Surfaces to be treated should be well cleaned. Remove any rust and sand.

Before painting
Shake the can for at least 2 minutes after the balls have started rattling, before starting the painting.

Painting
Test spray. Spray lightly 2-3 times with a spray distance of about 25 cm, wait about 30-45 seconds between times.

After painting
Can be recoated or sanded after 2 hours. Paint at normal room temperature, ensure good ventilation. Turn the can upside down and spray the valve empty after use.

After treatment
Hagmans 1-K Rust Protection Primer is dust-dry after about 10 minutes at +20°C. After approximately 2 hours of drying time, overcoating can take place. For extra high requirements on surface finish, the primer is sanded before applying topcoat, using, for example, wet sandpaper P600. Remove any rust spots with fine sandpaper and wash with, for example, Hagmans Silicone Remover.
