Additional information

Product information
  • Product description
Landora Latex Sealant is used for sealing joints around windows and doors, wall and metal sections, vent and pipe passages, etc. It can also be used for sealing joints and cracks in wooden facades during repainting, as well as for repairing window glazing. Note! It can be applied to damp surfaces but should not be used for joints that are constantly exposed to water. If joint movement exceeds +/- 10% of the joint width, a high-elastic sealant is recommended instead.

Application
  • Instructions for use

    1. Ensure that the joint surfaces are clean of oil, grease, and loose particles. Sand off any loosely adhering paint and degrease metal surfaces if necessary.
    2. If needed, use a backing rod with closed cells that does not absorb water. The rod should be 3-4 mm thicker than the width of the joint.
    3. Prime strongly absorbent surfaces with primer (mix 1 part sealant + 2 parts water). Let the primer dry for about 1 hour at +20°C.
    4. Apply Landora Latex Sealant with a caulking gun or air pressure sprayer. Press the sealant against the substrate to avoid the formation of air pockets. Smooth off immediately after application with a suitable tool, such as a rubber or steel spatula, damp sponge, or brush. Protect the joint from moisture during the first few hours.
