Product information
  • Product description
Hagmans Snickerifärg 15 is a waterborne lacquer paint, based on Hagmans' unique PAA technology. The lacquer paint provides a hard yet flexible surface. It has high coverage and is suitable for new painting or repainting of all types of wooden surfaces or rust-protected metal indoors. For example, doors, kitchen cabinets, moldings, furniture, and most substrates of primed wood, chipboard, etc. The lacquer paint has very good flow and remains relatively 'open' for a long time to allow for touch-up smoothing.

Application
  • Before painting

Always start by reading the instructions on the can and remember to be careful from the beginning. Good tools and careful preparation are essential for a successful painting result. Stir the paint well from the bottom before you start painting. Room and surface temperature are also important for the final result. Do not paint if it is colder than +5°C. Wooden surfaces: The surface must be clean, dry, and solid. Scrape off any old, loose paint. Sand and wash previously painted surfaces with paint cleaner, rinse with water, and let dry thoroughly. Untreated indoor wood should be primed with Wood Primer. Allow to dry well before lightly sanding with sandpaper to remove raised fibers. Fill any uneven areas. Sand smooth. Prime with undiluted Wood Primer, sand with fine sandpaper, and wipe off dust before final painting. Remember to properly protect floors and furniture before you start painting.

  • Painting

The paint is applied with a suitable high-quality paintbrush, paint roller, or, after thinning, with 10–20% water, with a spray. On larger surfaces, the paint can advantageously be rolled with a short-haired roller before leveling with a paintbrush. It is recommended to test first for best results. Apply at least 2 coats, allowing time for drying in between.

  • After painting

Wipe the tools thoroughly before cleaning in water. Seal the can tightly after use and keep out of reach of children.
Liquid paint residues should not be poured into the drain but should be taken to the local recycling center. Paint residues must not be poured into the drain. Metal handles should be separated from the plastic can when recycling the can.

  • Maintenance

Use a cloth dampened with water and mild detergent to clean the surface. Never use alcohol when cleaning paint or varnish.
