Product description
A fully matte, alkyd-based paint with high washability. It is primarily intended to be used as an insulating paint but also works as a primer and topcoat for ceilings, especially on stretched ceilings and/or glue-painted surfaces, and on interior walls -
Area of application
It can be used on all surfaces of wood paneling, concrete, gypsum, plaster, chipboard and fiberboard, etc. It has the highest insulation effect and is particularly suitable for surfaces with moisture, nicotine, or smoke damage, as well as for blocking knot bleed-through on pine and spruce paneling. It is also suitable when repainting old glue- or lime-painted surfaces where water-based materials cannot be used.

Pretreatment
Always start by reading through the instruction manual on the can and remember to be careful from the beginning. Good tools and thorough preparation are prerequisites for a successful painting result.
Stir the paint well from the bottom before you start painting.
The temperature of the paint, air, and surface is also important for the final result. Do not paint if it is colder than +5°C.
The surface should be clean, firm, dry, and dust-free. Wash, rinse, and remove old loose paint.
Glossy alkyd-painted surfaces should be lightly sanded.
Remember to protect floors and furniture properly before you start painting. -
Application
The paint is ready to use. Applied with a roller or brush. After thinning with white spirit (preferably aroma-free), it can also be sprayed. When used for branch insulation is recommended
brush.
Since the paint has a certain amount of grain (clogging) when rolled to give a smooth and concealing surface, the paint must be smoothed after it has been evenly distributed on the surface. This means when painting e.g. roof, after
distribution on the surface, that the roller is pulled in the same direction, with the same pressure and speed, in the wet paint. All peaks (the branches) will then lie equally in the same direction.
This prevents the light from being shaded differently on the surface, which can give a flaming appearance.
The same color is used as the base and final color. Normally one layer is sufficient but in some contexts 2 layers may be necessary with intermediate drying. On knotty surfaces
it is recommended – for the best insulation effect – to first iron the product in a thin layer, which is allowed to dry for at least 48 hours, after which the paint is applied once more. -
After painting
Wipe the tools thoroughly before cleaning in paint thinner. Close the can tightly after use and keep out of reach of children.
Liquid paint residues should not be poured down the drain but taken to the local recycling center. Protect the environment, we do.
