Hagmans Steel Plastic Liquid Polyester containing what you need to make a professional and cost-effective repair of through holes in the car, caravan, boat, or at home.

Take out the fiberglass mat and cut a suitable size piece for the damage. The fiberglass mat should overlap the hole by at least 2 cm. Mix thoroughly the amount of polyester needed with 2% hardener. NOTE! Do not mix more than what will be used in 4-5 minutes. Curing time 6-8 minutes. The surface can be worked on after 20-30 minutes. Apply the mixture onto the surface where the fiberglass mat will be placed. Work the mixture into the mat, then place the mat over the damage and press it down. It may be appropriate to saturate the fiberglass mat with an additional layer of polyester and hardener.

Clean the surfaces on and around the damage with, for example, silicone remover or thinner, sand off old rust with coarse sandpaper. Sand the area around the damage for better adhesion. Prime any bare metal with Hagmans Rust Protection Primer 1K spray or with Hagmans CA-Primer.
