Rostgrund

Landora Rostgrund is a primer that forms a dense film providing the surface with effective protection against rust attack. Landora Rostgrund is intended to be overpainted with the desired topcoat, for example Landora Iron and Sheet Metal Paint.

Landora Rust Primer is a primer for iron and steel substrates, light metal, and galvanized sheet outdoors.

Stir well. Between different batches, minor color differences may occur, therefore it is advisable to mix the paint from cans with different batch numbers.

1. Clean the surface thoroughly and ensure that the substrate is dry and firm. Remove any old loosely adhering paint and rust with a wire brush, sanding, or by sandblasting, and clean the surface from grease and dust. Any oil stains should be removed with a solvent. Glossy surfaces should be matt-sanded for best adhesion.
2. Immediately after the preparatory work: apply a coat of Rust Primer diluted with 20% white spirit and let dry. Then apply an additional coat of undiluted Landora Rust Primer.
3. Finish with 2 coats of topcoat, e.g., Landora Iron and Sheet Metal Paint.
It is important to start the painting work immediately after the preparatory work to prevent rust formation. Ensure that the substrate is completely dry before painting.

Leftover paint must not be poured into the drain. Leave paint residues, containers, and cleaning liquids from cleaning tools at your local recycling center/environmental station. STORE FROST-FREE STORE OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN
